The WFC Foundation was established in 1998 to help local agencies in the community that support those in need. Our focus is centered on helping children in a variety of ways. Some examples have been supporting the Free Clinic, Contact Ministries, The Salvation Army, South Wind Park, and the Springfield High School Music Department.

We have also partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Springfield, Girls on the Run and The Legacy Theatre Children’s Program to help further the education, experience and life lessons for children in Springfield and the surrounding area.

Past concerts have included Paul Barrere and Fred Tacket, The Boat Drunks, Mac McAnally, The Deep Hollow, Mary Jo Curry Band, Little Feat, Leftover Salmon, Venice, The Pine Mountain Logs, Craig Fuller, The Groove Daddies and others. Since 1998 we have raised over $150,000 for various causes. The WFC Foundation uses music as a way to bring people together for a night of entertainment to help benefit these and other organizations.

Each year the WFC Foundation promotes at least one concert where the proceeds go to a local charity that in some way will help children.

Until recently that was the only way we have raised funds. The WFC Foundation is a registered 501C3, if you would like to donate please send your contributions to the WFC Foundation, P.O. Box 13013, Springfield, IL 62791. All donations are tax deductable and 100% of the money contributed go to charities in the Springfield area.
